I'm here on holidays and yesterday got caught out in a rather large shower of rain. Without realising it water got into the control box. Chair just stopped, amazingly Mike with one phone call came straight out with a spare wheelchair for me to use overnight. As it's electric and I didn't have another chair with me. I won’t deal with anyone else now. My OT took me to ‘the others’ in town, who won’t service what they sell. Especially if you can ever get them to answer the phone!! Big Mike, in my experience, is the only ethical provider and equipment specialist in town. His knowledge of disability and aged care is impressive and he simply refuses to triple over-charge like the others in town have done to me. What an amazing store. Big Mike had everything I needed to allow my elderly relative to remain at home. A one stop shop that enabled me to purchase everything I needed in the one place. Not only do they stock a huge range of scooters but every mobility aid you could possibly dream about. They even took the time to demonstrate an emergency alert system while we enjoyed our coffee from their in store cafe. Nothing is too much trouble for Big Mike and his team. Highly recommend this business
Stay away. This guy takes advantage of small businesses so I hate to think how he treats his elderly and disabled customers. He hired us to do work for him, sent email approving all work and commenting how impressed he was with our work then simply refused to pay the invoice for no reason. He still owes us money and I’ve been told we’re not the only small business he has done this to.
