I had the most wonderful stay, the surroundings are exquisite, and I felt so comfortable and at peace. The perfect little getaway. Thank you so much, highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet break!

We had a wonderful stay at The Shay, so peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is clean and very private. Communication with Trish was professional and check in was easy. The bed was comfortable, beautiful bath/bathroom and kitchen well equipped. The highlight of our stay was definitely seeing all the gorgeous animals parade past the cottage morning and night. We enjoyed day trips to Springbrook area to visit waterfalls and amazing lookouts as well as Mount Tamborine. Highly recommend would definitely return.

My wife and I stayed in "The Shay" and happy to have found such a wonderful place to get away for a couple of days. Nicely decorated, and well appointed. The bathroom felt very luxurious with the freestanding bath, quality fittings and floor to ceiling tiles. It was winter so we made good use of the fireplace, even without the fire though, the heater warmed up the place very nicely. Very private, peaceful, cosy and made for a very relaxing time. Trish’s place was nothing short of perfect. Very peaceful, private, clean and close with the animals that share the space. Highly recommend that you explore the beautiful property and make friends with the animals as they are curious about humans. Wineries and Tambo are at an arms reach accompanied with a relaxing drive.

Nice, cozy little cottage, perfect for a romantic weekend getaway, the bed was super comfy and everything was sparkling. Quiet, private and relaxing. We had an amazing time and definitely will visit again. Thanks to our host Trish.
