What a perfect patch of paradise. I was looking for peace and quiet for some time by myself and could not have found better. The Shay is so beautifully furnished everything about it felt welcoming. So many animals to say hello to and a gorgeous succulent garden. I was impressed with the instructions for lighting the fires and the bathroom speaks for itself! Will definitely be back.

Overall, just a beautiful location, tucked away from the hustle & bustle yet close enough to local eateries & tourist attractions. A neat & tidy single or couples stay with a beautiful view & a setting that relaxes you. A cute fire pit outside to sit & unwind on a cool afternoon/ evening while the local four legged graze the hills. Being from the outback we do enjoy our peaceful mornings with a view & a coffee & this place provided just that.
We had the best time. This was the perfect place to get away and unwind. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed, and the property was even better. Horses, cows, sheep and wallabies were constantly coming up to the fence to say hello. We haven't felt this relaxed in a very long time. Trish was so accommodating and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend. We can't wait to come back
We had an absolutely lovely stay at The Shay. The location and the space is beautiful and we really enjoyed the serenity of the place. Sitting by the fire pit with a glass of wine watching the stars was definitely the best part. We also had cows, sheep, and horses come right up to the cabin which was amazing.
A lovely place to spend a quiet relaxed weekend amongst lovely surroundings and not that far a drive if you want to go for some walks at Tamborine or Binna Burra.
What a beautiful little cottage away from the world, yet close to everything. The check in seamless, the property spotless. The bathroom was like staying in the Hilton or better. The deck overlooks the paddock with cows, kangaroos, sheep & horses cruising past to say hello. Apart from the odd motorbike burning around the upper fence it was super peaceful & relaxing. Would recommend to anyone seeking privacy & romance. Thank you Trish, we'll be back in the winter to make use of that gorgeous fire.
