This is THE venue that Darwin needed! The venue is stunning, so bright, spacious and tropical vibes. The cocktails are amazing and well made! There is one bar tender who is happy to make classic cocktails on request (thank you!) but it would be good if the menu offered these as well as their signature ones on a normal basis. The pizzas are great. It would be nice to see a seasonal menu or something alike as well! Flicks is a great place for a fun night.
Fancy new restaurant/bar on Mitchell St. Perfect for after work drinks, even better for social gatherings & events. Super trendy setting with multiple seating areas. Well done & it looks and is amazing 👏
My experience - It all started upon our arrival, we had a booking for four people, arrived on time and walked up the steps in to the main entrance. I guess I was expecting to be greeted by a staff member and shown to our table however that didn’t happen. We were left standing around looking like a bunch of undercover cops at a festival trying to fit in. Spent a few weeks working in Darwin and went to flicks quite a few times. We absolutely loved it there. We had gorgeous food and lovely cocktails and drinks. The bar staff Lauren & Emmet were great, very professional & friendly. We would highly recommend to visit Flicks
The staff was not aware of the rib eye steak. The chef was there to guide. Mojito was limited to classic no options of lychee or passionfeuit. The steak was delicious and cooked to liking. Suggestion was made to the server, and a hot plate would have been a good idea to keep temperature. However, it may continue to cook the steak.. Staff were friendly and kept clearing our table. Grazing plates would be greatly appreciated, especially when drinking. Where we sat had a nice breeze..
