Had a leaky rear seal in the Triton and booked it in to Goodyear for replacement in Dec 23. Was quoted 1 day job for $1200. Ended up taking 3 days plus a Saturday as they "Had some trouble getting it all back together" or words to that affect. I Didn't complain as Sharon the franchisee is nice and didn't try to charge me for the extra time but honoured their original quote. I have been taking my car to Goodyear at Sumner Park for quite a while now for tyres and car repairs and I always have a fantastic experience with the team there. Their customer service is excellent and they are straight forward to tell me what needs repairing on my car and the costs are reasonable and affordable. After booking 3 days prior and explaining I had to walk to work, I arrived early and was ignored for 15 min in the reception office, not even acknowledged by both people behind the counter between calls. The guy that initially booked me walked in and out of the office and completely ignored me. Customer service was appalling. I was running late for work and went to the mechanic shop entry, the mechanic was incredible, took my keys and was friendly and helpful, old school courteous, this gentleman should be behind the counter... read more
