I love How friendly the staff are at this place. The coffee is here are delicious and they have so many interesting things you can buy. They even have chocolate pencils, which is quite interesting. Also love how some of their chocolate boxes are shaped like a violin and has Mozart on it. Love it! 🥰
Was my preferred deli but I gave the poor score as I don’t live in Canberra & no phone number to call rather than leave a negative review. However yesterday I paid $11 each for 2 small packets of dried mushrooms. Just went to use one packet & friend noticed use by date of 5/2/26 - out of date. The other packet was a decent 2027 date. As they are a fungus & friend saw it, had to throw out as I won’t be back in Canberra for some time. I would have simply phoned & advised but that easy option not available. I adore this deli. It's like an old friend. It has high quality, good value products - and always everything I need. The service is excellent - Barb the manager is amazing - she runs a great store and takes care of each and every customer. I have been coming here for years, hosting all of my small to milestone events with Mart Deli's goods. I love this place and will never go anywhere else.
This deli has a variety of foods from many different countries. I was very pleased with the selection of olives, I also liked the cafe. The cafe has multiple food options, and the coffee is amazing. The atmosphere of the deli is inviting and most of the workers are enthusiastic and so friendly. This is the best deli in Canberra, I would recommend.
Just a scroll through reviews tells you all you need to know about how fab their products and service are. I wanted to shout out to Christie who was absolutely deadset on giving me the best possible experience even though they weren't technically open. Can tell the management is good.
