Max, the owner, is one of the most genuine mechanics I've come across. I travelled into Darwin from NE Arnhem Land, and Max and the team were super accomdadating. I was able to leave the car with them for a few days while I was away while. He's there to do the best job by you and your car. I am so grateful for having this mechanical team work on my 200 series. In short I have traveled lots and had my vehicle serviced at various mechanical facilities. All saying the same thing. Left hand turbo is leaking. Slowly getting. Worse. Max and his team diagnosed this as a blocked intake manifold, after just a short discussion over the phone. I travelled to Darwin from Melbourne in my GMC 2500. Before leaving, I researched to find who could service my car and Max agreed and booked me in. Service was done quickly with no complaints. In the meantime a sensor in my car failed, throwing an engine light. Max was able to help diagnose and after a part was delivered from Melbourne he quickly arranged to replace the failed sensor. I booked my car in for an oil and oil filter change and discussed with the receptionist that we were travellers, didn’t have a spare car and that we would be waiting so could our car be the first of the day to be serviced? This was agreed and the booking made specifically for 5 days hence when things were ‘quiet’. As we were travelling around Australia I noticed MDD were recommended by others for their servicing of Silverados, everyone else was to busy or not interested - 10 points to Max and the team, serviced my rig, inserted 2-inch wedges, and also did Mums motorhome no sweat.. Definitely recommend
