We had such a great night at Pickled Poet! The Ragu was rich and comforting, like a warm hug in a bowl— and the Grazing Board for Two was packed with flavour and perfect for sharing. The live music gave the whole place such a good vibe, and honestly, the staff were just lovely. Super friendly, really attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s the kind of spot you want to come back to! Great food, great atmosphere, and just a really good time all round.
Great place for a pre-theatre dinner. Even though it was very busy, the service was prompt and attentive. We had focaccia (so good!) and salads with pulled lamb, then hazelnut cannoli. Everything was fresh and tasty - very enjoyable. The outside area can be noisy if there are large groups but inside seemed quieter. Will definitely eat here again.
Absolutely delicious! If you like European deli style food and excellent wine choices, this place is definitely worth a visit. We had the grazing board for two, the smoked hummus and the green Buddha bowl. Everything was beautifully presented and well prepared. The grazing board was both stunning to look at and absolutely delicious, and well recommended. The service was great, there was an excellent drinks menu and also they have some high-quality deli products on sale to choose from if you just want to stock up on anything.... read more
OMG I just stopped by for something quick and ended up with one of the best focaccias I’ve ever had. Prosciutto, cheddar, spinach, and this slightly sweet creamy sauce, everything worked together perfectly. Crispy outside, soft inside, and it smelled amazing all the way back to the station… Staff were super sweet and helpful too.🥹 It was my first time in Wollongong, but honestly, I will come back just for this. Still thinking about it hours later. That’s sooo good.
Great little wine bar with good quality food and interesting wines. Service was prompt and friendly. This place is clearly popular with the locals, which is always a good sign. We shared a ham focacia which was delicious. Plenty for two for a quick lunch.
