Great value pub grub. The wait staff were attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.
We had the lunch special yesterday - rump steak and chicken schnitzel, $14 each and gravy was a $1. They're both great and for the price it was of good quality. I will kindly ask next time for less chicken salt on chips but that's a preference thing. We were welcomed by nice staff and the place was clean.
Went there a couple of times in the last week - good pub to sit at and watch the world go by, but would be nice if the glass windows opened because it feels like a bit of greenhouse sitting there. Food wise one of the best schnitzels I've ever had, but also had a pizza another night and it was the worst pizza I've ever had; a McCains would have been better.
My partner and I only went there for a cocktail. Great pub. Very nice and friendly security staff. However, the lady with glasses serving at the bar was unwelcoming and unfriendly, and she made the worst strawberry mojito and blue margarita we’ve ever had. She definitely needs to be trained in customer service and cocktail making. Otherwise, this good pub may continue to receive bad customer reviews because of her.
Been a long time (like 16 years) since I was last here! The food was excellent, the service fabulous and the vibe felt like home! Will be back sooner rather than later! Recommend for excellent pub food!
