We had the lunch special yesterday - rump steak and chicken schnitzel, $14 each and gravy was a $1. They're both great and for the price it was of good quality. I will kindly ask next time for less chicken salt on chips but that's a preference thing. We were welcomed by nice staff and the place was clean.
I ordered a Chili prawn pizza Well what a disappointment over an hour to get it and only a handful of people there ! (Friday 1.30pm) oh it cost 24 bucks !!! It just went down hill from there the pizza was just an oily mess with no flavour on a commercially made base with only cheese and a few prawns very little Chili flavour ! Domino's do a far better pizza for half the price !!!!
I have been a regular customer at the Postman's Tavern for the past few months and have taken time to consider my review. I think it's unmatched in its value for money and quality of ingredients. The lunch rump special at $13 with sauce, is an absolute favorite. The staff are very polite and the chef's like Tony and Kyle along with their teams should be very proud of the job they do. Thank you!
This place has really gone downhill for some weird reason. Even their in house burgers are no longer an in house burger. Having been in another place at another time- these beef burgers are nothing more than a bulk bought burger patty from V&C and nothing you can say will convince me of otherwise . Constantly out of stuff, now serving pre made crap rather than being made in house. Lift your game guys and bring it back to what it was please. If it's Ambiance you are looking for, you won't find it here. Very plain. No bells n whistles. The meal was good. The beef burger was real meat, not that chemically tasting mass produced patties. The Bourbon brisket loaded fries was excellent, however a little dry. I added mustard and pickles to finish it off better, but dry. Service was very friendly. Had a 2019 Chardonnay that was nice and oaky, could be a little more oaky for me though. Not a place for a great experience out, but good for an 'eat n go' kinda meal.
