We visited on a Sunday and luckily we booked as it was full. The only downside is the ordering process. It is chaotic. You have to order and pay at one counter but order your drinks/coffee at another. Meaning you have multiple bills. Especially on a busy day, like a Sunday, it means there are people everywhere moving around.....felt like Pitt Street! People bumping into your chairs, people nearly spilling drinks and/or food, people constantly walking in and out. It would be better if there was table service, it would cut out... read more
Fabulous venue with amazing views in daylight hours. At night it’s a cute old fashioned country pub - July had Christmas trees & fire places burning a few small dining rooms for dinner etc Really nice we had a good steak, salad/chips ✅ Oh and the dogs 🐶 at entry adorable
I grew up going to this pub. We visited today after years of not being back. Very disappointing. We had to wait 1.5hrs for our food to arrive, and when it did it was awful. Inedible. Cold. Clearly reheated several times. We ordered a kids nuggets and chips with a side of mayo $17 and it came with 4 small nuggets. So disappointing. They really should advise patrons when the kitchen is overwhelmed and it will take over an hour to get food. Will never be back.
Such a beautiful location and the food is spectacular!! I had the pork belly and coleslaw salad and it was not only delicious, it was huge! The view is amazing and there are usually St Bernard’s napping in their front room which is fun to see. But because of this it’s not dog friendly.
This Restaurant’s location was exactly what I was after. Peaceful, magnificent scenery, cool brisk country air, wildlife and a relaxed atmosphere. First time here and it was a little bit confusing on what to do, whether you just sit wherever or wait to be seated and then where and how to order. A little sign on the front door or a greeting from staff would of been helpful.
