Good and not so good here. The 'good' is that when there is nothing else open on a Sunday morning this place is. The morning service was fast and friendly and the coffee was great. We were working locally so when it came time for lunch I suggested The Nest Cafe. I was looking for a hamburger but only saw the bacon and egg burger on the list so I thought that I had better check. What a gem ... 70's style service with 90's prices. Local family owned and run business that's a pleasure to visit. Great coffee and food, friendly atmosphere and loved by the locals. A nice touch is the local artwork on display and available for sale.
All day breakfast if you wish. The menu caters for all palettes. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The coffee is as good as anywhere I've had great coffee. Had lunch one day and back for early breakfast the next day.
People can be so rude to employees! We witnessed it first hand, constantly people were disrespecting the young girl behind the counter not because she did anything wrong the would just walk up and have a go about something. Even though she was being so polite, even to us as we were being served and she continued to be nice our entire visit and both food and drinks were very fast.
Stopped into this lovely cafe for lunch, was super super busy, I waited to be served about 15 minutes at the counter (no exaggeration )the line was getting longer sadly the girl making the coffees although she was under the pump, didn’t welcome me no apologies for the wait, I actually thought i wasnt going to get served at one point, they were definitely under staffed, although I will go back the front of staff need to confer with the customers a little bit more. In saying that a great coffee shop to visit.
