Great place for a morning tea stop! By the menu, anytime is probably great for a feed. Very happy with quality oat milk and the yummy treats. We must go back for lunch. Local art work for sale is hung around the cafe walls.
The loaded fries had nice crispy chips on the bottom, overall yum. But the star of the show was the chocolate thickshake! So nice and thick! This is the thickshake you hope for when you ask for a thickshake and get a milkshake 😂 Definitely recommend for a decent feed ☺️
Good and not so good here. The 'good' is that when there is nothing else open on a Sunday morning this place is. The morning service was fast and friendly and the coffee was great. We were working locally so when it came time for lunch I suggested The Nest Cafe. I was looking for a hamburger but only saw the bacon and egg burger on the list so I thought that I had better check. Whilst we didn’t have the best experience yesterday today made up for it. We had delicious breakfast. I chose the smashed avocado with two eggs. I then requested tomato relish which they willingly brought out complimentary. It was quite a busy time and they provided service with a smile. The place is decorated with art work and I particularly liked the work of Ngairie Sorrenson from Toowoomba.
Very generous serve of lasagna & salad. I probably should have taken some away with me but the salad was fresh and lasagna a bit too moreish!
