What a gem ... 70's style service with 90's prices. Local family owned and run business that's a pleasure to visit. Great coffee and food, friendly atmosphere and loved by the locals. A nice touch is the local artwork on display and available for sale.
Canadian Pancakes- 2 soggy burnt pancakes and undercooked bacon. Took ages to get meals then had to chase up coffees after another customer got hers with in a few minutes.
Outstandingly disappointing. We arrived at 12:40 and ordered around 1. Everyone else received their food within 15-20 minutes apart from myself. It was then about 1:40 and I asked when my food was coming and they said they are making it now and shouldn’t be too much longer. Meaning that they had entirely forgot my order. Then when my order came out it was a bacon and egg burger when i ordered a chicken schnitzel burger. This staff service is atrocious. Just had the most delicious breakfast at this lovely little café! The eggs Benedict were spot-on – perfectly cooked eggs, rich hollandaise, and a flavor that hit all the right notes. The homemade sauce, in particular, was the best I’ve ever had; you can really taste the care they put into it. The best chips! Fresh, hot and crunchy. Can’t ho past them. Burgers are awesome - fresh salad, generous size and meat. Always stop here.
