Got my car in to change my compressor: First quote was $2000, then I said I can't pay that amount for a compressor change (called few mechanics around belmont at $1250 - $1400 range), then called again saying their boss can drop the price down to $1550. I asked for the breakdown in pricing, other mechanic came with 850 for compressor, and 400+ labour. This mechanic said that their compressor costs $1400, and $150 in labour. Even though my car had reached its final destination & life, I can only speak highly of the help I received here, they checked my car issue without charge, my car was in a secure yard until I could sell it, one guy helped me remove my child car seat, another drove my car near the road for pickup. Lovely people who helped me in my time of need.
Good customer service & advice. Recommended replacing the tyres and provided excellent pricing and same day fitting on top of the regular service. This is the second vehicle I've had serviced at Ultra Tune & will be a returning customer.
I am warning everyone: do not ever go to Ultra Tune Belmont. They are the absolute worst. I brought my car in last Friday for a simple, routine service. The car was running perfectly. Shortly after I dropped it off, they called me with a long list of "extra tasks" that needed doing, including replacing the water pump. I informed them that I had just replaced the water pump two weeks prior. Their immediate excuse was, "Oh, then it must just be old coolant residue." This should have been my first red flag. First time servicing at Ultra Tune Belmont. Car drives very nicely post service. Workshop very tidy and well presented. Competitive pricing, friendly staff, hopefully service again with UTB next year.
