Not my first visit, I live overseas and keep coming to Wayne once or twice a year since 2021, for obvious reasons. Beside a great choice of bikes and gears, the one thing that make them outstanding is their customer service, always friendly and pertinent, would go seamlessly the extra mile to help you. Last, I would like to thank Troy, the tyre department man, exceptionally knowledgeable, passionate, a real nice guy. They are a local family business, no crazy marketing here, just good guys having pride in their reputation.
From enquiry to purchase to pick up of our bikes from WLM, Joel was a wealth of knowledge and able to match our needs with the perfect bikes for us. The extra care and attention regarding maintenance and safety features during handover was quality customer service. Highly recommend dropping in and talking to the team at WLM if you're in the market for a bike.
Beware! One of the mechanics doesn’t know correct chain tension. Totally over tightened mine during a basic service before a return ride back to VIC. Transmission started howling after a day riding so dropped in to Bowen Motorcycles on day two. The guy was amazed how tight it had been set with concerns about gearbox! You trust these guys to do a good job … and you just can’t. Can’t recommend Wayne Leonard’s enough. I ordered tyres for my trip to the Cape and they held them despite my trip being delayed a month. Then when I got to Cairns they went out of their way to ensure I was on my way as quickly as possible. On my way back they fitted my bike in at short notice for oil and filters changes. They also had great advice for travel in the region all while being extremely friendly and helpful. Great shop. Awesome people.
