We went here last night with visitors from Victoria . I had highly recommended Ba Na Thai as I have dined here before and the food was outstanding. Not so this time! Sweet and sour fish was made with fish sauce and the fish was very dry . I couldn’t eat it. Other meals were just as disappointing. What has happened? Is it under new ownership or new chefs? I was terribly embarrassed for my visitors as the meals are quite costly too. Service was okay.

So very angry at the moment. Decided to get takeaway for Mothers Day dinner. Ordered online as asked, the order wasn’t accepted but my $111.11 was taken out of my account. So there was a try again button, so hit that, again order not accepted and another $111.11 taken out of my account. Tried to call NO ANSWER. Went to the restaurant and the man behind the counter really didn’t understand the concept that the online ordering system is flawed. Our entree as lovely, the wait sfaff were great but we waited a really long time for our meal and when it arrived the duck was dry and tasteless and my veges were cold. Very disappointed to say the least.
Terrible service. Had to flag a staff member down to order drinks more than 20 minutes after being seated. Waited over an hour for our entree. Asked 3 times where it was, no one ever came back to the table to tell us. Less than 30 seconds after the entree finally arrived, the mains came out and they tried to take the half eaten entree away! Good food but would not recommend going during their busy periods
The food had no flavour what so ever. I had pad Thai and the noodles were plain white with no visible sauce or flavour, I always finish the whole container but couldn’t even get through 1/4 of this. My partner had a curry and it also had no flavour. We went here as it had been ranked no.1 Thai on a website we found 🤷♀️
The food was good the service was good But value for money.... absolutely not $16.90 for a plate of fried rice that didn'teven have prawns in it. Over $95 for 3 dishes and fried rice Highway robbery. Maybe they have different prices for visitors and locals
