The food, the service, the beer and oh my the food. Love this place
I have loved this pub for the greater part of my life... All my key moments were shared over meals with loved ones here...
Perfect service, good selection of food but I paid $38 for a NY steak with mushy vegetables & some concoction of "dianne" sauce. Friend ordered the duck, for $36 BBQ potato, half a peice of tomato & what appeared to be no jus. Sad when supporting local businesses that you receive sub standard food off an interesting and inviting menu. Sadly we won't be back.
Food was expensive for a pub & not very good.
just paid ,$35.00 for the toughest scotch fillet steak ever, obviously budget and totally nothing like what they advertise as their expertise in steak at the Red Heifer bistro , side of Brussels came out cold totally disappointed
Very disappointed when I ordered a well done rump and it was still bleeding :( I would hate to see a rare one. I ordered a cocktail an most of it was ice. Probably 1/3 liquid :(
I’m an outer towner & have eaten at this pub quite a few times & yes it’s nice but after today’s lunch was not impressed hubby had chicken snitz Neptune ........prawn came out on it raw so sent back for a second time prawns were still raw & the sauce not so good either.
Hi, we are regular customers of your establishment and USUALLY have a great meal. Today we went in for dinner, my husband cooked his steak then asked we my meal was up too. He was assured it was coming out 'in a minute'. My husband ate his meal while I was still waiting. My husband asked for the money back as I had not received my meal and I was no longer hungry.
