RecommendedThese Guys have been BRILLIANT!📣 Hubby and I found ourselves stranded in Birdsville in July, with serious mechanical issues. Malacai rescued us and we, our vehicle and caravan were towed 680kms to Mt Isa. We can't speak highly enough of Laurence who was beyond accommodating, allowing us to store our caravan safely in their secured yard for almost 2 months. RecommendedI was travelling through Mt Isa Thursday the 27th of June and had a engine light staying on so I rang Mt Isa Holden and They told me they could not look at until the following Tuesday. So I rang Miners Mate Mechanical and they fitted me in Friday morning and had the problem fixed in 5 minutes and was on my way. RecommendedWe had a vehicle that needed an urgent repair done to it. We phoned Miners Mate the day before we were to arrive in Mt Isa and explained our problem we were having with the Landcruiser. The guys at Miners Mate asked us to take a look at a couple of things while we were parked on the side of the road (in Richmond). RecommendedWe had a problem with our air conditioning and booked in to have it fixed. No fault on behalf of the repairer the part didn't arrive. So kind they didn't even charge us for having inspected and diagnosed the problem. In a hurry to get north on our travels we continued. Couldn't recommend these guys enough so professional, kind and considerate.

These people (Travis in particular), went out of their way to get us back on the road as soon as practical. They communicated well, explaining what was happening in a forthright yet friendly way.
