The Shay Studio is nothing short of paradise. Overwhelming beauty both in the property and the surroundings with breathtaking scenery of endless and unspoiled countryside. Great getaway. Free from noise, warm by the fire. Amazing bath, comfy bed & a full sky of stars to gaze at. Comfortable, clean, private & the perfect place to recharge. We were so relaxed & could have stayed cocooned there for weeks.
Trish was there to greet us and show us around her gorgeous studio and it certainly is a great place to relax and unwind. We enjoyed both the outdoor and indoor fires. The studio is spotless, the kitchen well laid out, the bed is so comfortable, and the bathroom and bath luxurious. The walk up the hill and down to the little creek are worth the walk and the horses grazing by the creek were friendly. Lovely cottage nestled in beautiful rolling country side, perfectly located near Canungra, Mount Tamborine and Lamington National Park. Home was exquisitely clean and lush and we loved having a fireplace and bathtub to keep us warm through the winter nights. Trish is a lovely genuine host who is happy to help where required but allows for your own privacy and relaxation.
My partner and I had the most peaceful stay. The Shay Studio is absolutely amazing, and in such beautiful, serene location. Trish had put the fireplace on for our arrival, and had amazing hospitality during our stay. The studio was exactly as pictured, the views were incredible, the amenities were great and the bed was very comfortable and spacious. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night, so we will definitely be back again!
Trish's place is absolutely beautiful and exactly as described. We loved the indoor and outdoor fireplaces and enjoyed having a walk around the land. Trish was a very thoughtful host, with the studio furnished with everything you could need! Will be recommending this place to friends and family and can't wait to come back !
This place was amazing, beautiful scenic location. Trish had thoughtfully put the fire on for our arrival. The bed was so comfy! My only regret is that we only stayed one night.
My partner and I enjoyed a beautiful night away at Trish's place. A little piece of paradise away from the hustle and bustle. We especially loved the deep free standing bath which fitted us both perfectly. :) and the choice of an indoor combustion fire or out door brazier. We were pleased to find Tamborine Mnt was relatively close and look forward to our next visit.
