A beautiful little cottage in the rolling fields of Canungra. Exactly the quiet and relaxed weekend we needed.
Our escape to The Shay was just what we were after. The accommodation is very luxurious, clean and the views are breathtaking. If you are looking for total relaxation and a chance to unwind away from technology then this is the place. Thank you for a lovely stay!
We had the absolute BEST time at The Shay over the weekend! The place was very clean and spacious and the bed was super comfy. It was so nice to be able to explore the property and to have the horses come right up to the house and meet us. The Shay is totally private and secluded and was such a nice getaway. Trish was lovely, super responsive, and flexible with check in/out times, and even let us play with her baby sheep. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
My partner and I loved our night away at “The Shay”. Trish was a lovely host and treated us to two amazing pieces of steak during our stay. The cottage was the well decorated and beautiful and tidy! Thanks for our stay Trish, we’ll definitely be back 😃

The Shay was one of the most beautiful and romantic getaways! Exceeded all expectations! The incredible landscapes and immaculate space made for the perfect escape from reality for a night! Trish was a great host and was always available should we need her! Would highly recommend!
I took my two daughters to Shay Studio to spend some quiet time away from ipad, laptop and iphone devices. It far exceeded my expectations. By day, we walked the hills and ridges, played board games and read our novels. By night, we toasted marshmallows, played more games and enjoyed spending time together. Absolutely loved our nights stay in this beautifully decorated little cottage. The location is serene and it was super cozy listening to a storm roll through during the night. Wish we could have stayed longer but we'll definitely be back!
