We had a great stay here, wish we had more time! It was extremely clean and just like the pictures. Would love to come back some time!
Lovely place, clean and tidy, and hosts very friendly, absolutely loved our weekend,
Trish was very welcoming.... the location of this cabin was ideally positioned amongst grazing cattle and horses....it was just beautiful waking up to the four horses right outside of the cabins fenced area. The cabin is beautifully decorated and comfortable, ideal for a relaxing or romantic get away.
The Shay Cottage is a little slice of heaven. Trish, the host is so lovely and welcoming. The finishing touches is what makes this little cottage so amazing. The outdoor fireplace is just so magical at night( just don't forget the marshmallows). The bathroom is spectacular with a huge shower, luxurious bathtub and floor-to-ceiling tiles. The property views are breathtaking. Would definitely recommend The Shay.
The Shay is absolutely beautiful and Trish is a fantastic host. There isn't any wifi or reception, so best suited for a quiet getaway. It's such an idyllic place - every detail of the cottage has been meticulously designed. The outdoor fire is perfect for wine and cheese, and the bathroom is gorgeous. We loved every second!
The cottage was much more beautiful than shown in the pics ..The views are simply breathtaking. Ideal for people who like the quiet and serene views away from crowds. We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing getaway!!! The sunrise on the farm is worth waking up for :) Trish is the best host that we have ever interacted with. She was very helpful in guiding us to the property , showing us around the farm , invited us to hang out with her Chooks and horses . We stayed for one night over the weekend, we were looking for somewhere quiet to get away from our busy lives and it exceeded all of our expectations! The property is secluded but still close to many lovely close by places including mount Tamborine. The view is amazing! We sat out watched the horses and cows graze in front of the property while we ate cheese and wine. We had a great stay and only wish we were there longer. The cabin was beautiful and so was the view. Trish was also very helpful and accommodating. We would love to stay again in the future.
