The cottage was much more beautiful than shown in the pics ..The views are simply breathtaking. Ideal for people who like the quiet and serene views away from crowds. We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing getaway!!! The sunrise on the farm is worth waking up for :) Trish is the best host that we have ever interacted with. She was very helpful in guiding us to the property , showing us around the farm , invited us to hang out with her Chooks and horses . We stayed for one night over the weekend, we were looking for somewhere quiet to get away from our busy lives and it exceeded all of our expectations! The property is secluded but still close to many lovely close by places including mount Tamborine. The view is amazing! We sat out watched the horses and cows graze in front of the property while we ate cheese and wine. We had a great stay and only wish we were there longer. The cabin was beautiful and so was the view. Trish was also very helpful and accommodating. We would love to stay again in the future.
The Shay Cottage was exactly the getaway we were after. It's a beautiful place set in a lovely, quiet location. We loved sitting by the outdoor fire late afternoon with the horses and cows nearby, had a great walk on the property and the cottage was even better than we expected. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were ready to go on arrival with plenty of wood. Trish is a great host with clear communication. We can't wait to come back to this beautiful little spot!

The Shay Studio is nothing short of paradise. Overwhelming beauty both in the property and the surroundings with breathtaking scenery of endless and unspoiled countryside. Great getaway. Free from noise, warm by the fire. Amazing bath, comfy bed & a full sky of stars to gaze at. Comfortable, clean, private & the perfect place to recharge. We were so relaxed & could have stayed cocooned there for weeks.
