Too expensive for the condition of the property. The new owners have only been there for 7 months and are in the process of upgrading the whole building and rooms. However, even though the room was old and had not been upgraded, it could have been cleaned to a much higher standard. There was also a leak around the bottom of the toilet. Not a good look. will not book there again Reception staff were only borderline average The bathroom for that price was a definite no go The sheets were clean A gentleman (Cleaner/handyman/manager) wandering around was extremely friendly and helpful.
The property is in need of an overall face life and pest control for the price we paid for one night. There were cockroaches throughout the room. The carpet was not vacuumed and the sliding glass window to the property didn’t lock. My daughter felt vulnerable as there was drunk people throwing things outside. The driveway scrapped the front of my car as it is way too steep to actually drive out of. The air con worked well.

Great to catch up with friends and enjoy a superb dinner in Murwillumbah Although it was clearly indicated in the room that the property is undergoing much-needed renovation (it is a very tired property and clearly evident by the ugly uncovered skip in the car park, nothing is more off-putting and certainly unnerving with the prospect of building noise) it would have been good to have been courteously fore-warned in the interim advance communications from the property managers/owners, we would most likely still have stayed f... read more
Recommended for location Old building, no lifts to upstairs Good location, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
It was comfortable, cleaned to the best of their ability. Bathrroom facilities need attention. I did not feel that safe, the door locks certainly need to be looked at in this day and age. The bed was comfortable we had a good night sleep. Air conditioning was great.
