The Shay was even more beautiful than pictures show, they really don't do it justice. We thoroughly enjoyed every second of our stay. Being on the property was nothing short of food for the soul. It was so peaceful and relaxing, extremely private, quiet and completely self-sufficient. Animals were amazing to wake up to just outside the door. Picnic on the hill to watch the sunset. An amazing escape not far from Brisbane.
We only stayed here one night but loved it so much. The tranquility of the property was heavenly & the friendliness of the farm animals made us smile from ear to ear. Thanks Trish! We’ll be back for sure, especially to enjoy that glorious bath again.

The Shady Studio is so peaceful ! Such a great way to get out of suburbia and enjoy the country side. Trish is incredibly friendly and such a great host. Accommodation is spotless and very inviting. Indoor fireplace was great for the cold weather and made it feel so nice and cosy. Not to mention the farm animals on the property which we were able to pet ! Couldn’t recommend more.
Trish was very welcoming and hospitable. Pictures are very true to what it looks like! A great place to get away!
