Absolutely loved this cabin. Extremely well appointed with one if the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Fireplace and bath topped off the perfect romantic getaway. Can't rate this place highly enough.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Country Mile Escape. A fantastic getaway in a great location with beautiful surroundings. The cottage was well appointed, cosy, and luxurious. The soaking bath tub was a highlight, as were the friendly and playful horses who greeted us as we woke from a restful nights sleep in the comfortable King bed. Although we were only an hour from home, we felt worlds away. Our only regret was not having to have been able to stay longer. This place is so lovely for escaping the day to day grind. The house is very modern, super clean and has everything you need and expect (and even more). Very private and relaxing.
My husband and I wanted to have a couple nights away, we both were blown away with the beautiful house, the land, and very friendly animals. We will definitely be back again and again, highly recommend.
Beautiful scenery and such a cute little cottage. Perfect for a weekend away after a crazy week. Loved the feeling of the traditional cottage and modern touches. Was great to have a fire and watch a movie too! Thanks for a great weekend away
We stayed at Trish place for our honeymoon and it was exactly what we needed. The space was beautifully presented and the fire place and bath where such a nice touch. We loved spending our days sitting on the deck watching the animals just over the fence. Getting to wander the property and pat the horses was a particular highlight for me as I love horses. 10/10 would recommended if your wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle and truely relax.
Great communication. Trish was a caring host and The Shay was an amazing experience. Lots of animals around, and some nice eating places too. It was such a fun place to go, to get away from the suburb life. Would recommend it 10/10 for anyone looking for an experience. We will definetly go again one day ♡
We loved every minute of our time away, it was much needed esp with only a few weeks to go before our little man arrives!! Would highly recommend esp if you love being away from the busy Gold Coast and enjoy more of that secluded retreat
