It was such a lovely place to stay so relaxing and peaceful will definitely be back
Very luxurious cottage in a beautiful country setting. The bathroom is next level! Such nice finishes & that big bath with a view was so relaxing. Big comfy bed, spacious areas with high ceilings make it very comfortable. The deck & outdoor furniture great & we loved watching the horses, cows & kangaroos go past. We look forward to coming back.
Book with confidence. Trish’s place is as great (if not better) than the pictures. I was there for some much needed quiet to focus on some work projects. It was relaxing and tranquil with lovely views and friendly wildlife. It has all the utensils and cookware in the kitchen you’d need - just pack your pantry items and perishables! Local store has what you’d need to cater for yourself. No WiFi or string mobile signal but that’s part of what made it great. And the bed was fantastic. I’d return without hesitation.
The Shay was even more beautiful than pictures show, they really don't do it justice. We thoroughly enjoyed every second of our stay. Being on the property was nothing short of food for the soul. It was so peaceful and relaxing, extremely private, quiet and completely self-sufficient. Nothing in the way of sightseeing was more than a 30 minute drive away and staying with Trish was such a great introduction to a farm stay. We loved sitting by the outdoor fire and stargazing. Animals were amazing to wake up to just outside the door. Picnic on the hill to watch the sunset. An amazing escape not far from Brisbane.
We only stayed here one night but loved it so much. The tranquility of the property was heavenly & the friendliness of the farm animals made us smile from ear to ear. Thanks Trish! We’ll be back for sure, especially to enjoy that glorious bath again.
