Had the most beautiful getaway in the country, staying at “The Shay”. Totally relaxing! Beautiful property and lovely to walk with the cows/horses/sheep as well as native kangaroos, wallaby, rabbits... have recommended several friends already, and will definitely return myself!
Very relaxing.
Trish was an amazing host, her place was beautiful and super clean. It had everything you will need, all the comforts, amazing bath, blissful deck, bbq, tv and beautiful nature views. What make it more special is that around our cabin there were horses, cows, sheeps and wallabies. There were the most friendly animals. Trish even let me feed the baby cows, amazing experience. Will totally recommend this place and definitely will be coming back.

The Shay is a little piece of paradise. Fully self contained, and located in picturesque rolling hills, you will not want to leave this place! It was beautiful waking up to watch the cows roam the paddocks in the morning. Highlight had to be the INCREDIBLE bath and shower facilities!
Trish’s property is absolutely gorgeous! Perfect for a relaxing getaway. The studio is well equipped, cosy and very clean. Trish was very helpful and welcoming. The property is so vast, we spent a whole afternoon wandering around and exploring. Will definitely be back!
Private, luxurious country getaway. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Sparkling clean glorious bathroom with large bath tub and shower. Lush soft Sheridan towels provided. King size bed very comfortable. We loved the fireplace inside, it added to the romance and was safe and easy to use. Outside was well equipped with table, chairs and fire pit. We loved our stay at The Shay. The cottage is perfect. Impeccably clean, everything we needed, very comfortable bed, loved the wood fire, privacy perfect, the visitors (cows)so cute. Next time we would stay longer.
The Shay will blow your mind ! Trish and her partner Murray are phenomenal hosts, very warm and welcoming and the view is absolutely breathtaking. Trish and Murray brought us firewood for the inside wood burner which warmed the place up perfectly in the evening and were kind enough to let us pat the farm animals which made the trip that much more special !
