lovely holiday house, in a beautiful and private location. we enjoyed getting visits at the fence from friendly horses, a cow and some sheep. the house is clean and well appointed. Beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed. app 15 minutes drive from Conungra village.
Great place to relax, unwind and be surround by nature.

This truely is an amazing place to stay in. It is such a unique and lovely little part of the world. Perfect to recharge the batteries! I felt quite spoilt being in a king size bed and with an amazing bathroom! Very clean and tidy. Lots of animals around that liked to be patted.
Staying at The Shay was just what I needed. It was so peaceful and calm. Sitting outside by the fire, with a glass of wine and a book while watching the cows and horses come in the night was just perfect. I can't wait to stay there again and would highly recommended for anyone wanting to check out and get away. Thank you again Trish!
Spent two nights in this cosy and clean accommodation, a pleasant staying experience.
Trish was an amazing host! The cottage was beautifully clean, well equipped and had all the necessities for a few day stay! We enjoyed using the BBQ for dinners in the evening and particularly loved all the beautiful animals on the farm. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a getaway - super relaxing and beautiful!

Our weekend at Country Mile Escape was absolutely perfect! So peaceful and relaxing with the most beautiful scenery. The visits from the horses and cows were lovely and walking around the property was so enjoyable. We highly recommend visiting here for a quiet, romantic weekend away :)
